1. Better your Concentration
A lot of people drink chamomile after having a long day. Do you like mixing it with green tea?
Studies show that green tea is best for brain function. It reduces stress, calm you down but increases alertness, all simultaneously.
Rooibos or red tea, is a caffeine free tea and is native to Africa.
This caffeine-free Rooibos or red tea is known to decrease insomnia, stress and headaches. If you don’t like caffeine, reach for the red tea.
2. Cleanses your body
Detoxing regularly helps.
Chemicals from the products we use to cleanse our body can stay in our system for a long time and ultimately poison us.
Detoxing has become a popular method of ridding the body of harmful chemicals.
Teas that have detoxifying effects are green, black, white, ginger, dandelion and licorice roots.
3. Battling against inflammation
What does ginger, garlic, and turmeric have in common?
They are very popular anti-inflammatory agents. For a maximum effect, steep in the hot pot of ginger tea, the minced ginger, and turmeric.
If you do not like ginger and turmeric, you can brew up ginger and chamomile.
You won’t need the Advil.
If you want to have a caffeine touch to your tea, you may add green tea.
4. Feeling down while having your monthly period
Get your peppermint tea. It soothes the stomach. Green tea also helps the cramps.
Coffee is not the answer when you are experiencing unpleasant periods. Drink tea as often as needed as this will hydrate you.
Another option is the red raspberry leaf tea.
5. Antioxidants in tea: The big deal
This is the most important thing. The very reason why scientists and health personnel are going obsessed over tea.
These chemicals found in some food such as fruits and vegetables are very healthy for human consumption. Antioxidants give off positive effects to our body.
Antioxidants fight off cancer, anti-aging, risk for strokes and heart problems, and also, liver problems. They reduce the risk of high blood pressure and high cholesterol. And so on and so forth.
So save yourself from waiting too long!
Ditch the Starbucks habit and be a tea drinker. There’s definitely a lot of tea for every life’s occasion.
